simultanea has its roots in Sprachenbüro, an interpreting company founded in Cologne in 1997 by Ulrike Schu, a certified interpreter in German, English, Spanish and French. In January 2006, simultanea was registered as a partnership company in the German partnership register. Ulrike’s partner in the company is Angela Sanchez, a certified interpreter in Spanish, German and English who has worked as a consultant conference interpreter since 1995. These two professionals form thebasis of a strong, perfectly coordinated interpreting team with over 30 years of accumulated experience.

In addition to simultaneous interpreting itself, project organisation is a very high priority in our work. Thanks to our years of experience, we are well aware how important it is for teams to work together in complete harmony.
